We turned your best (and worst) training moments into a board game 🎲
Let's Unmute The Audience🎙️. Down with boring, one-way presentations 😡
Hi there!
In this newsletter:
Cool: We’ve rebooted Snakes & Ladders for virtual trainers!
Today: Upgrade your virtual presentation skills
Improved: AI summaries of your text-based interactions
Snakes & Ladders just got a reboot!
This one is for all the trainers out there, bringing your A-game every day.
It’s a tough job motivating people to pay attention to riveting subjects like anti-money laundering and Know Your Customer compliance, but you make it look so easy!
To celebrate your work and bring a smile to your face, Lux just posted our new Snakes & Ladders game (virtual trainers edition!) over on LinkedIn.
Got a scenario that we missed? Let us know!
Know another trainer who would appreciate this graphic? Tag them in the comments!
May you have more ladders than snakes in your next virtual training session!
We’re aware that in the US the game is more commonly known as Chutes and Ladders, but, hey, “Snakes on a Plane” sounds better than “Chutes on a plane” (which would be a real emergency).
Wait, so is StreamAlive in the board games business now?
I know what you’re thinking: What has a classic board game got to do with unmuting your audience?
Honestly, it was born out of one of our content marketing meetings that took a massive tangent as we started talking about board games from our childhood.
Then someone (probably Lux) said…
“Hey, wouldn’t it be cool if we did a Snakes & Ladders game for our users? If something positive happens in a training session, up the ladder you go. If something negative or unwanted happens in a training session, you slide down the snake (or chute).”
And so Snakes & Ladders: Virtual Training Edition was born!
Should we turn this into an actual game?
Thanks to the magic of ChatGPT, it turns out that it’s not all that hard to turn this into an actual virtual board game. Would you like to see a playable version of the virtual trainers edition of Snakes & Ladders?

AI Summarization of your chat is now even faster
We’ve turbo-charged our AI to generate almost instant AI summaries from your text-based interactions like Talking Tiles, Wonder Words, and Transient Thoughts.
Just click the light bulb icon during your live session to generate a full summary of the text. You’ll get:
Highlights: An overview of the themes and topics your audience spoke about
Popular opinions: If there was a theme that many people spoke about or had a consensus on, it would get mentioned here
Alternative voices: If there were any contrarian takes on the popular opinions, they would get highlighted
Notable quotes: If something quite profound was said by an audience member, it would get picked up
As always, we’d love to know your feedback in our community!
