This week, we’re pleased to announce our StreamAlive Ambassador program.
What is an ambassador program?
No, you’re not going to get a special passport and diplomatic immunity (although that would be cool).
Nor will you be asked to eat lots of Ferrero Rocher (sorry, it is a British reference).
Earn up to $1,000 every month
If you have an audience on a social network, share an honest post about your experience with StreamAlive and we’ll pay you for it.
Up to $500 for every heartfelt post, up to two a month
$50 for every 10k organic impressions where StreamAlive is tagged (or mentioned where tagging isn’t allowed)
Capped at $500 for posts that are only about StreamAlive, and $200 for posts about multiple tools
Compensation for one social account per ambassador (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.)
Check out the complete ambassador program details if it sounds like something you might be interested in.

Learn the five essential stories every individual must know about themselves and the strategic five places to integrate these narratives seamlessly.
We have three exciting #StreamAliveShowcase events coming up with three exceptionally knowledgeable people in their field.

Wake your audience up from their “ho-hum” state
Our CEO, Lux Narayan, shared a story on LinkedIn this week about a presentation technique that his grandfather taught him.
It’s called the Ho Hum Technique.
If you watch TED presentations or stand-up comedians, they don’t waste time talking the usual introduction pleasantries.
They jump straight into the presentation with a story or a fact that shakes and wakes their audience up from their “ho-hum” state.
Lux’s grandfather said if you’re giving a presentation about road safety, start by saying “Three hundred and forty shiny new coffins were delivered to our city today…”
That’s sure to snap your audience out of their ho-hum state!
Check out how Lux used the ho-hum technique in a recent presentation he did towards the end of the day when everyone was PowerPointed to death and engrossed in their phones.
To see how these tips play out in practice, join us for our workshop on Feb 8th on how to tell interesting stories about yourself that help you stand out from the crowd.
What we’ve been reading
This week, we announced a $1.58m pre-seed funding round led by Speciale Invest, with participation from multiple other seasoned executives.
TechCrunch covered the announcement, and we’re delighted with the write-up that they gave us!
Similarly, when gaming streamers and educators include interactions in their livestreams, it could help convert more passive observers into active participants and, in turn, boost their fanbases or make a lengthy online course more entertaining.
We’ve got so many plans for 2024 to make your streaming and live session events better than ever.
