We gave our Chrome extension super powers
Did you know that the Streamalive Chrome Extension is a great way to extend StreamAlive across different web-based streaming platforms?
And it can do it without adding a bot to your meeting or stream.
It reads the chat of these web based platforms and allows the audience to participate in all of StreamAlive’s interactions by just typing in the chat.

StreamAlive’s browser app relies on bots and APIs to capture the chat stream, but with the super-charged Chrome extension, web-based chat streams can now be captured and converted into visual interactions.
With our new release we now support dozens of platforms where you can run chat powered interactions:
Restream
LinkedIn Live
TikTok
Kik
Facebook Live
Discord Live
X Live
And more!
You can also use the StreamAlive Chrome extension on platforms already supported such as:
Google Meet
Twitch
YouTube Live
The difference is that you don’t have to connect to the live session through StreamAlive’s browser app using a bot. The Chrome extension automatically detects the chat from the browser window.
How DJ Grafitti uses StreamAlive’s Chrome Extension
Keynote DJ, Martin Smith aka DJ Graffiti, livestreams his DJing sessions to multiple platforms using Restream.
Every Monday, DJ Grafitti does his Uplift live session.
Using the StreamAlive Chrome extension, he has all he needs to help connect with people across multiple streaming platforms like Twitch, YouTube Live, and LinkedIn Live.
Here’s a quick Q&A I did with Martin earlier this week about why he uses StreamAlive in his streams.
Hey Martin, what's your favorite StreamAlive interaction to use?
Magic Maps. That one is a no brainer, because I always ask where people are tuning in from.
What's your main reason or primary purpose for using StreamAlive in your DJing streams?
If you don't keep people engaged they will tune out. It's too easy to click to another tab, jump on your phone or walk away. The best way to get people engaged is to get them involved and personalize the event for them. Stream Alive does just that!
What difference have you seen in your audience's reactions when you've used StreamAlive?
People are amazed and want to keep commenting to see themselves show up on the screen. There's much more engagement in the chat. Often people can put a DJ stream on in the background and treat it like Spotify, but when I'm using StreamAlive they stay around and active which gives me energy to play even better DJ sets.
How can people find out about your upcoming streams?
Every Monday we come together for the Weekly Uplift!
Congratulations to John Chen 🎉
We’d like to congratulate our good friend, John Chen, on becoming a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) at the National Speakers Association last month.
Only a handful of people ever receive this designation and the bar is set very high, including a minimum of 5 years of experience, and a tough peer-review process.
Congrats, John!
