Pryvit! šš½ Lux here.
Thatās hello in Ukrainian, and a little hat tip to our friends at Svitlo School, who have a graduation event tomorrow (Aug 27). Attendees will be in person and online (like me), and StreamAlive is proud to help make it engaging with the tech in the able hands of StreamAlive partner, Virtual Approval
Iāve been spaced out this week. In fact, a lot of our team have. In a good way.
Read on, especially if youād like to attend an amazing event for free.
Weāre thrilled to partner with our friends at the Astro Society, short for the Astronomical Society of the Pacific.
They have an amazing conference starting tomorrow. Itās fully virtual, and the fantastic team at Astro Society are huge believers in dialogues > monologues. Fortunately for us, they discovered StreamAlive (thanks Shanil), and the rest, as they say, is history. We are proud to be cosmic sponsors of this amazing event. The timing is pretty significant. And itās not just about astronomy in the 250th year of American independence. Hereās whatās happeningā¦.
Almost everybody has heard of the Hubble Telescope. You may also have heard of Nancy Grace Roman, who is known as the āmother of Hubbleā and NASAās first Chief of Astronomy. Well, NASAās newest telescope, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope (NGRST in short) scheduled to launch into space on August 30th, less than a week from today.
Here is more on this fantastic endeavor and testament to human ingenuity. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will settle essential questions in the areas of dark energy, exoplanets, and astrophysics.
While the (rest of the) conference charges a nominal fee, the following event on Day One is absolutely free to the public.
You might want to bring your kids along for this one. Inspiration guaranteed.
On Friday, my co-founder, Tina, and I will be joining Shanil to speak on
From Zoom Fatigue to Active Learning: Transforming Online STEM Teaching with StreamAlive
As a reward for making it this far, I want to let you know that our friends at Astro Society have given us a couple of conference passes for our StreamAlive friends. These are each worth $195 each, if memory serves me right.
If youāre interested and are absolutely sure youāll go, just reply back letting me know. If youāre strapped for time, simply write ācosmicā in your mail, and tomorrow at 8 am EST, weāll spin a wheel (of course) to pick three lucky winners. Iāll personally email you by 10am EST on Thursday, Aug 27 -if you won.
Oh, and while we are talking about being liveā¦
We will also be at TechLearn in Austin in September. Iāll be representing StreamAlive there, having been selected as part of their startup spotlight.
Let me know if youāre going to be there.
Live every week.
We spoke to many of our users. In fact, we asked you in previous versions of this newsletter, and many of you indicated that you prefer public AMA sessions to one-on-one sessions to help you with all things StreamAlive. We have that and lots more.
Many of our AMAs will be hosted by me Tina, my co-founder. And every Monday we will be going live with the usual suspects, some of our power users, and experts on all things live.
Hope to see you soon on one of the many live sessions.
Do pobachennya.
